About Us

Marshall Cofield began his heating and air conditioning career in 1976 when he went to work for West Georgia Heating and Air Conditioning in LaGrange, GA. He successfully completed the Georgia Conditioned Air Exam and launched Cofield Heating and Air Conditioning. Later, the company name was changed to Cofield Comfort Systems.

Marshall grew up in LaGrange and is a graduate of LaGrange High School.

He is married to Cindy McLeroy Cofield. They have one son, Alan.

In his spare time, Marshall likes to hunt, fish and spend time with his grandchildren.

Alan Cofield is the son of Marshall and Cindy Cofield. Growing up in a ‘heating and air conditioning’ family gave Alan extensive opportunities to learn the business. Working with his dad provided Alan the chance to expand his HVAC experience.

After graduating high school, Alan went on to successfully complete the air conditioning and refrigeration program at Daytona Beach Community College where he was named the HVAC Star Student of the year.

Alan is licensed by the states of Georgia and Alabama to install and service both residential and commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.

His vast knowledge of the HVAC industry provides Alan with the perfect skillset to design and implement installation of all aspects of home comfort.

When Alan is not at work, you will find him hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Alan is married to Lesley Arrington Cofield and they have twin daughters, Marlee and Maycee.

Cindy is the wife of Marshall Cofield and she is Alan’s mom. Together, Cindy and Alan manage Cofield Comfort Systems.

Cindy became involved in the heating and air conditioning industry as she assisted her husband, Marshall, in launching Cofield Heating and Air Conditioning. She has completed several HVAC courses including Manual D and Manual J.

Cindy graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaGrange College with a degree in mathematics. She taught mathematics at both the high school and technical college level. She was an education consultant for several years where she provided support and guidance to school systems as they implemented software and technology. During this time, she remained actively involved in the family heating and air conditioning business.

When Cindy is not at the office, you can usually find her cooking, decorating and entertaining. She loves spending time with her granddaughters. She is an active member of her church where she sings and plays the organ.
